Since its founding in 1994 Alberding GmbH is concerned with applications in GPS positioning in the fields of surveying, navigation and geographical information systems (GIS). Our business activities range from the distribution of and service for GNSS receivers, developing specialised software solutions and offering other services such as consultancy in the GNSS area.

We focus on developing and distributing software and system solutions for GNSS infrastructure applications. Our modular software components are designed for the operation and integration of permanent GNSS reference stations.

Online Networking of GNSS Reference Stations

As one of a few companies in the world we offer online networking of GNSS reference stations. Our software solutions are independent of the manufacturer of the GNSS receiver and suitable for running in internet server systems. For the integration and deployment of GNSS data we use the Ntrip protocol. Our strength is to adapt our software easily to the specific needs of our customers.

In August 2006 we replaced our Real-Time DGPS service (AMDS/dGPS) that was formerly provided via AM-long-wave transmitters with an internet based DGPS service (DGPS-Online). Besides the DGPS correction data in RTCM data format we also offer ephemeris data transmitted by satellites.

Ephemeris information which is available online shortens the time to the first position fix of the user (Time To First Fix). This procedure is called Assisted GPS (A-GPS).

EuroNet – Real Time GNSS Networking Software

EuroNet software connects the data of several GNSS reference stations online. The advantages of this network of GNSS reference stations are e.g. the homogeneity in the position accuracy across a large area and a decrease in station specific errors. It also allows you to control the stations online which is ideal to build up a basic DGNSS infrastructure for a larger region.

NtripS 05 GNSS data server - Ntrip upgrade for older GPS reference stations

NtripS 05 GNSS data server is a complete solution to upgrade older GPS reference stations to Ntrip functionality. By omitting movable construction units and using a specially adapted LINUX operating system maximum stability and protection from hacker attacks can be guaranteed. The system is accessible via a standard web browser.
